The Knights of Columbus Council 11575 was chartered in 1995 as the Windsor-Johnstown Council. The charter was formed from members of both Saint John the Baptist parish in Johnstown and its mission parish Our Lady of the Valley (OLV) in Windsor.

 As the years passed, both Parishes and the Council grew to the point where expansion was inevitable. In 2000 Our Lady of the Valley parish constructed a new multipurpose building at 1250 Walnut Street in Windsor to serve as a church for worship, hall for social events, classrooms for religious education, and KC Council hall.

Likewise, St. John’s grew to be able to support an independent Council and in 2005 Holy Trinity III Council 13729 was chartered in Johnstown. Shortly thereafter, Council 11575 changed its name from Windsor-Johnstown to Our Lady of the Valley. Council 11575 remains in District 1 in Colorado and continues to grow with membership surpassing 100. We now support our mission parish St. Mary’s in Ault through a Round Table program.
